An original sculpture by Chronos · Complimentary UK delivery

He looked back once.

ORPHEUS captures the moment that changed everything — the final glance towards Eurydice, preserved through the one eye that remains.

Created from an original sculpture by Chronos and cast in wax, ORPHEUS is conceived as a collectible sculptural object rather than a conventional candle. Fractured, imperfect and deliberately incomplete, every element of the form belongs to the story.

Each piece belongs to a strictly limited edition of 50, individually numbered and accompanied by its Certificate of Authenticity.

THE MAKING OF ORPHEUS

  • Each Orpheus begins as an original Chronos concept, developed digitally into a three-dimensional form.
  • A physical master is then created and refined by hand using clay, careful sanding, primer and detailed surface work until the form reaches its final character.
  • From this master, a silicone mould is poured and left to cure over several days. Once released, the mould is carefully cleaned, trimmed and finished with precision tools before being prepared for casting.
  • The process combines digital design, hand-finishing and traditional mould-making, preserving the fractured form and fine details that define Orpheus from the original concept through to the final wax object.
